If you live in New Haven County and see a swarm of honey bees, text me (860-690-6121) a picture of what you’re seeing, if they are honey bees and are within 15 – 20 feet, I will come capture the swarm, set them up in home, and bring you the first pound of honey they produce. Plus – you get to name the queen! It is magnificent and rare to see a swarm land or see them in a cluster. No need to worry – bees in swarm are looking for a new home – their stomachs are full of the honey they are taking with them and they rarely sting

The first picture (bees in the tree) is a swarm of honey bees.

The second picture (hanging in a playscape) is a nest of wasps. For wasps, you can call an exterminator, spray it yourself, or if it’s not in your living area – ignore it.

If honey bees have already moved in and set up a home in your wall or eave, you will need a cut out. I don’t have the carpentry skills to offer this service.
